Knightly is a turn-based strategy mobile game with elements of fog of war, reminiscent of games like "Battleship" 🚢 and tower defense games. 🗼The gameplay takes place in a large 3D field or arena where two sides compete - the Defenders and the Runners. 🎮🕹️

The Defenders are responsible for setting up defenses on their side of the field. They have various types of units at their disposal such as castles (acting as barricades), archer towers, and pawns. These units have different weights, limiting the number of troops that can be placed each round. Each type of unit has a specific function and strategic importance. ⚔️🤺

After the defense is set up, 🏰 the Runners are placed on the other side of the field. The Runners' goal is to reach the other end of the arena without getting stopped by the defenses. 🏁 The catch is, the Runners do not know where the defenses have been set up due to a fog of war mechanic, which creates an element of surprise and strategy. 👀

In multiplayer mode, one player sets up the defenses, and the other player places the runners. In single-player mode, the player places the defenses, and an AI bot named "Simon" spawns the runners. The game features a round ⏰  timer, and if no runner has reached the end when the timer runs out, the Defenders win. 🏆

"Knightly" also features a progression system⬆️  where players can unlock more troop slots, new unit types, and Simon gets smarter as players progress. This ensures that the game remains challenging and engaging. 💪
